Featuring accounting and planning tracks, the half-day forums brought together influencers and decision makers across the office of the CFO oCFO and the office of the CIO oCIO to examine the ways in which artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) are transforming business models, processes, operations, and customer relationships—and in so doing, elevating the analytical and advisory responsibilities of finance professionals and reshaping the skills and competencies they need to create value for the business. These shifts are reflected in Deloitte Consulting’s Crunch Time reports on Dynamic Finance and Data; AICPA-CIMA’s Finance Assessment Model for Effectiveness (FAME); and Workday’s product roadmaps, all of which collectively provided a basis for the forum’s discussions.
